ZIWI

What testing does ZIWI Peak go through?

ZIWI Peak complies with the New Zealand Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI) approved risk management programme based on a Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) plan. Production samples are tested to ensure they meet the specified range for food quality and safety. We conduct laboratory testing on all production products to ensure compliance with stringent EU regulations and to meet our own strict in-house requirements. There are strict limits imposed for these tests, and MPI maintains an overview of the results.

ZIWI conducts feeding and palatability trials working with Massey University in New Zealand, who are recognised for their veterinary program. ZIWI does not undertake any invasive animal testing.
